Learn when and how to use indefinite and definite articles
Articles are small words that come before nouns. There are three articles in English: "a", "an", and "the". They help us specify whether we are talking about something general or specific. Los artículos son palabras pequeñas que van antes de los sustantivos.

| a | Before consonant sounds | a book, a car | un/una |
| an | Before vowel sounds | an apple, an hour | un/una |
| the | Specific things | the book (that we know) | el/la/los/las |
